Dr Zhan completed his medical degree in Shanghai, China before immigrating to Australia in 1991, he is fluent in Mandarin.
He finished his internship and residency training in Melbourne hospitals and has worked in rural Victoria and Queensland. He became a fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2004. A principal medical officer in the surgery, Dr Zhan has been working as a general practitioner in Noosa since 2002 and began practising with Ochre Health in 2014.
He enjoys all areas of general practice and provides chronic disease management, men’s and women’s health, antenatal care, paediatrics, mental health, WorkCover medicals and pre-employment medical examinations. He runs a weekly fracture clinic at Ochre Medical Centre Noosa, with support from the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
Dr Zhan enjoys the Noosa lifestyle as well as travelling, he loves music and is a Hawthorn Hawks supporter.
