Dr Nicole Busch

Dr Nikki Busch grew up in a regional town in Queensland and relocated to Wollongong to pursue her studies in Medicine, graduating from the University of Wollongong in 2016. Following her internship and residency, she gained experience in Paediatrics and Obstetrics before commencing Specialist GP training with the Royal Australian College of GPs.

In her practice, Dr Busch attends to patients of diverse backgrounds and ages, with a particular focus on women and children. She has pursued additional education in Paediatrics, completing the Sydney Child Health Program (previously known as the Diploma of Child Health), and holds a Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health from Family Planning NSW. Dr Busch provides antenatal shared care and postnatal care and is currently undergoing further training to become an accredited provider of Neuroprotective Developmental Care (the ‘Possums’ Programs).

Outside of her professional commitments, Dr Busch dedicates her time to her young family, raising her two children. She enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, skiing, and mountain biking, along with indulging in her love for coffee and spending time at the beach. Additionally, she contributes to the medical team at Wollongong Hospital as one of the Emergency Doctors, appreciating the dynamic and collaborative environment and the opportunity to enhance her skills in acute medicine.
