Dr Amanda James obtained her medical degree at Monash University in Melbourne. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and has an Emergency Medicine Certificate from the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (ACEM). Dr Amanda enjoys all aspects of general practice and has special interests in preventative medicine, healthy and positive ageing, improving clinical and quality of life outcomes for people experiencing chronic medical conditions, person-centred care, exercise and nutrition.

Outside of medicine Dr Amanda enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking her rescue dog, and exercising, especially multi-day hiking.

Dr Amanda James offers Bulk Billing for aged pension card holders. Please note that this doesn’t include treatment room or other additional fees – patients will be informed if these fees apply.
