Dr Jayabalan started practicing medicine in 2006 after graduating from the National University of Singapore with specialty training in Family Medicine with the College of Family Physicians Singapore.
She moved to Wollongong with her family in 2015 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2016. She is passionate about medical education and is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer with the Graduate School of Medicine, University of Wollongong.
Her areas of interest include women and children’s health (including shared care for pregnant patients), mental health and endocrinological issues (such as diabetes and thyroid disease).
