Dr Chiné Burger is a South African trained doctor fluent in English and Afrikaans. She obtained her degree from the University of Pretoria and then completed her internship in a busy rural hospital before moving to Australia and working in a combination of both public and private settings. She has now settled in Toowoomba with her family. She enjoys treating the whole family with a special interest in Women’s Health including menopause and contraception. She has completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Child Health which supports her additional special interest in Paediatrics. Dr Burger has also done further education in skin cancer detection and treatment.
Dr Burger has a passion for preventive medicine and patient education. Outside of work she and her husband spend their time running and cycling as well as running after their 2 young children.
