Dr Ian Dumbrell is an experienced General Practitioner with a strong background in rural and remote medicine. He graduated with an MBBS from the University of Sydney in 1986 and completed basic specialist training in Anaesthesia in the UK in 1994.
Since 1998, Dr Dumbrell has worked extensively across rural and remote settings, including with the Royal Flying Doctor Service, remote Aboriginal communities, and in rural hospital VMO roles. He has also been actively involved in medical education, serving as a GP Supervisor with Registrar Training Organisations since 2012.
