Dr James Eadie completed medical school at the University of QLD in 1987, and began practising as a Resident Medical Officer at Royal Brisbane Hospital in 1988. Dr Eadie completed further training as registrar in emergency medicine, obstetrics and anaesthetics at RBH and Ipswich Hospitals.
Following this, Dr Eadie worked in rural Queensland, starting as Medical Superintendent at Emerald Hospital in 1993 to 1994, before becoming Medical Supervisor at Kingaroy Hospital from 1995 until 2005.
Since 2006 Dr Eadie has worked in Kingaroy as a GP, and has continued as to work a VMO in Anaesthetics and Obstetrics at Kingaroy public and private hospitals with periodic locum stints in rural Queensland.
Outside of medicine, Dr Eadie enjoys running, tennis, cycling, bush walking, and gardening.
