Dr Karyn Forbes

Karyn is a specialist General Practitioner. She is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is a member of the Australasian Menopause Society and has obtained Family Planning Association National Certification in Reproductive Health and Sexual Health. Karyn enjoys looking after women across all ages and stages of their life and has developed a passion for caring for women during their midlife years. Karyn practices in the areas of reproductive health, contraception, perimenopause and menopausal transition. She also offers consultations for all women for contraceptive related services, including IUD (Mirena / Kyleena) and Implanon, as well as for sexual health and menstrual concerns.

Karyn is now offering a dedicated women’s health service for new and existing patients.

Outside of work, Karyn is an active mother of 3 young children who understands the challenges and need to balance health and wellbeing with a busy lifestyle.

Karyn is available Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and some Saturdays
