Dr Basnayake is an experienced practitioner who graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2009 in Sri Lanka. He is well-experienced across multiple disciplines including General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Anaesthesia, and Paediatrics. He has been serving the Parkes community since 2017. He completed his Graduate Diploma in Critical Care Medicine and MD Anaesthesiology part IA.
Dr Basnayake no longer works in general practice and has shifted his focus to supporting the local hospital Emergency Department, providing his service as an anesthetist, and performing scalpel-free vasectomies at the Ochre Medical Center Parkes.
