Dr Mitchell Netherton graduated from UTAS in 2018 and moved to Launceston in 2019 to complete his intern year with rotations in general surgery, oncology and emergency medicine. He then moved back to Hobart in 2020 to work at the Royal Hobart Hospital with further rotations in rehabilitation, geriatrics, neurology, paediatrics and obstetrics and gynaecology, prior to entering general practice in 2022. Mitchell obtained his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2024.
Outside of General Practice, Mitchell enjoys cooking, bush walking and travelling the world.
