Dr Asif is an accredited Skin Cancer Doctor and highly experienced General Practitioner with postgraduate qualifications in Skin Cancer Surgery, Skin Cancer Medicine, and Dermatology. Of Fijian heritage, he is well regarded for his warm, caring, and compassionate approach to patient care.
He has worked across both regional and metropolitan Australia, gaining extensive experience in Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care, and dedicated Skin Cancer Clinics. His clinical expertise includes advanced skin cancer flap and graft surgery and high‑level dermoscopy, supporting precise diagnosis and effective management of complex skin cancers.
Dr Asif is a member of the Australasian Skin Cancer College, where he was awarded the College’s Distinguished Scholarship as the top graduate in the Advanced Surgery & Medicine program. He also completed the College’s Advanced Dermoscopy course with Distinction, and contributes to medical education as a Tutor in the College’s advanced training programs.
Outside of medicine, Dr Asif enjoys spending time with his family and has a passion for the arts, astronomy, and ongoing personal development. He is also an enthusiastic Rugby Union fan.
