Dr Cooper Graduated from Leicester University in 1987. Following his intern year, he completed a medical rotation prior to going into general practice. He obtained experience in the many branches of medicine as well as other specialities including ENT, ophthalmology, obstetrics and gynaecology and emergency medicine. He began living and working in Australia in 2001 and has now been working in general practice for over 18 years.
He began practicing with Ochre Medical Centre Grafton just a few months after it opened its doors in 2012. Prior to the move to Grafton, he worked as a Civilian Senior Medical Officer for the ADF in Darwin. He is an accredited GP Trainer and teaches medical students from Wollongong.
In his spare time, Dr Cooper plays the trumpet with the Clarence Valley Orchestra and hopes to get back into rowing sometime. He also enjoys mountaineering and snowboarding.
