Dr Sammani Hewagama is a General Practitioner with over 14 years of clinical experience across rural, regional, and tertiary healthcare settings in Sri Lanka. She completed her MBBS at the University of Colombo in 2011 and holds MRCGP (UK). She also obtained Canadian medical registration in 2025.
Throughout her career, Dr Hewagama has gained broad experience in family medicine across a wide range of medical specialities. In addition to her clinical practice, she has a strong interest in healthcare leadership and service improvement, having completed an MSc and MBA in Medical Administration.
