Dr Sarah Gradwell

FRACGP, MBChB

Sarah completed her medical training in the UK before moving to Australia and qualifying as a General Practitioner in 2012. She has worked in the Newcastle area since 2013. She has completed extended training in obstetrics and gynaecology and sexual health and previously worked for 18 months in a specialised women’s health clinic. Her qualifications allow her to help women with all aspects of contraception, including implanon and IUD (Mirena and Kyleena).

Sarah has a special interest in all aspects of women’s health, including pelvic pain, heavy menstrual bleeding, pregnancy planning, contraception, fertility, women’s mental health and menopause management. Sarah also enjoys children’s health and management of chronic disease conditions.  Sarah’s approach to medical care is patient-centred, non-judgemental, empathic and supportive. Her goal is to promote wellbeing for all her patients.
