Born and raised in Dubbo, Dr Sarah Parker moved to Wollongong in 2017 to complete an undergraduate degree in Medical Science before graduating with a Doctor of Medicine in 2023. During her training, Dr Parker spent 12 months based in Broken Hill, working with the Royal Flying Doctor Service to deliver primary healthcare to rural and remote communities.
She then completed two hospital years at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital, where she also gained a Certificate in Palliative Care and enjoyed being involved in the teaching of medical students. Dr Parker is passionate about General Practice for the opportunity it provides to connect with patients from all walks of life.
Outside of work, Dr Parker enjoys live music, playing AFL, and spending time in nature, including camping, hiking and swimming.
