Dr Tom Young

Dr Tom Young is a GP Registrar with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM). Originally from the UK, he completed his medical degree in Dundee in 2016 before undertaking his internship in England.
Dr Young moved to Australia in 2019 and has since worked predominantly across the Northern Territory, gaining experience in both hospital medicine and general practice. He is interested in all aspects of rural general practice and enjoys providing broad, comprehensive care to patients and communities.
In August 2026, Dr Young completed a Master of Public Health, further developing his interests in disease prevention, health promotion, healthcare systems and improvement, and the social determinants of health.
Outside medicine, Dr Young enjoys sport, travel and exploring nature and the wider world.
