Dr Prashanth Sellathurai

Prashanth grew up and completed primary and secondary schooling in Sydney. In 2012 he graduated from the university of Sydney as a Diagnostic Radiographer and worked at Alfred imaging / iMed in North Strathfield. He underwent further studies and complete Medical school (2019) and General Practice training in North Oxford, UK. During this time Dr Sella has worked in clinical radiology, intensive care, emergency medicine / A&E, general surgery, urology, community psychiatry and palliative care.
Dr Sella also has a special interest in MSK and sports medicine which is complimented from his hobby as an elite gymnast, having held scholarships at the New South Wales institute of sports (NSWIS) & Australian Institute of Sports (AIS). He has competed and represented Australia at world cups, world championships and Commonwealth games (2006 & 2010). He was an ambassador for the Premier’s sporting challenge which advocated and supported primary school children with healthy lifestyles and regular physical activities. Hi interests outside of work include Motorsports / Formula 1 and he coaches gymnastics at the NSW High Performance centre.
