“I grew up in country New South Wales and lived in many areas around Australia before settling in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland in 2009,” Jane shares. “Here, I found the open space and country feel I needed, along with wonderful people.”

Jane completed her studies at QUT in Brisbane and Queensland University. She has been a podiatrist for 16 years and a credentialled diabetes educator for over six years.

“I love helping people improve their health,” Jane smiles. “I am deeply committed to assisting people with chronic diseases live the best life possible.” She treats conditions such as fallen arches, heel spurs, ingrown toenails, and problems related to injury or overuse. Additionally, Jane addresses underlying health issues like diabetes when they are linked to foot or ankle problems.

Jane is passionate about her work for its flexibility and the variety of patients she meets. “Every day is interesting,” she explains. “I also enjoy teaching people how to cope with their situations and improve their health. With diabetes, I stress one thing: education, education, education—it’s key.”

She emphasizes the importance of foot health: “Feet are our stable base. We need healthy feet to move and live. Footwear plays a big part in keeping our feet healthy, especially as we age. Protecting and supporting our feet is vital to keep us moving as the years go by.”
