Dr Betty (Xiaoting) Ge is a compassionate and dedicated medical professional with a strong commitment to providing comprehensive healthcare. She earned her medical degree from the Australian National University (ANU) in 2018.Starting her medical career with a background in nursing and psychology, Dr Ge brings a unique perspective to her practice, offering a holistic approach to patient care. She completed her internship and residency at The Canberra Hospital and Calvary Hospital.

Dr Ge has a diverse range of special interests, underscoring her dedication to patient-centred care. Her areas of expertise encompass paediatric care, women’s health (including reproductive health, antenatal care, and menopause management), men’s health, mental health, and gender-affirming care.

Committed to providing a wide range of contraceptive options, Dr Ge has undertaken specialized training with the Sexual Health and Family Planning ACT (SHFPACT). This training equips her to offer services such as Implanon and IUD insertion, removal, and replacement, ensuring her patients have access to the most up-to-date and effective contraceptive solutions.

Dr Ge’s multicultural background enriches her ability to connect with diverse patient populations. As a native Mandarin speaker, she can effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking patients and provide culturally sensitive care.
