Dr Dawn Choi

MBChB, AMC, FRACGP, SCHP, Master of Medicine (Skin Cancer)

Dawn completed her Medical degree 1999 and is a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (achieving an exam ranking in the top 2% of candidates across Australia). She has completed the Sydney Child Health Program (Highly Commended) and a Master of Medicine (Skin Cancer) with Dean’s Commendation.

Dawn is a specialist GP interested in all areas of General Practice medicine including child health; aged care and senior health; women’s health (sexual and reproductive health, period health, contraception, perimenopause and menopause, Mirena and Implanon insertion and removal, and termination of pregnancy); Gender Affirming Care; Mental Health (with training in focused psychological strategies and management of eating disorders); drug and alcohol management; lifestyle medicine and weight-loss management; respiratory medicine; and Skin Cancer medicine. Dawn is also interested in Aboriginal Health and providing culturally and linguistically safe care to patients from all backgrounds.

Dawn is also an authorised prescriber for ADHD medications and THC / CBD medications. She is also an authorised Yellow Fever vaccinator.
