Dr Jan Hogbin

MBBS, FRACGP, Diploma Family planning (Sexual and Reproductive Health)

Dr Hogbin graduated from the University of NSW in 1990. She worked in the Wollongong Public Hospital in general medicine, general surgery, paediatrics, obstetrics, gynaecology and emergency medicine.

She gained the Fellowship of RACGP in 1996, joined Market St medical practice in 2001 and began practicing with the Ochre Medical Centre in Wollongong in 2016.

Dr Hogbin offers dedicated menopause appointments, providing time and expertise for specialised menopause care. On Wednesday she will run a Menopause Specialised Care clinic.

Dr Hogbin will be working on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays each week in general practice.

Dr Hogbin mentors and examines medical students through the Graduate School of Medicine at UoW and also works as a clinical editor for HealthPathways, a GP desktop tool that helps GPs to improve patient quality of care.
