David Armstrong
David is an experienced Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of clinical practice in Primary Health Care, with a particular interest in gender-affirming care, preventative care and the management of chronic and complex health conditions. David has undertaken additional advanced training in gender-affirming care, mental health, sexual health and immunisation. David is a proud advocate for the LGBTQIA community, and a member of AUSPATH and Meridian ACT. David aims to always provide inclusive, empathetic and compassionate person-centred care for people living in the Canberra region and its surrounds. David also enjoys spending time with their life partner and friends enjoying art, movies, music and being active outdoors.
Gayle Rusher
Gayle Rusher was born in Tasmania before moving to the mainland to work and study, including work as a Flight Nurse and as a Remote Area Nurse in remote Aboriginal communities in Queensland.
As a Nurse Practitioner, Gayle can prescribe medications and order tests within a limited scope of practice, and as a midwife and child health nurse, Gayle can manage pregnancies and care for children. Gayle is also qualified as a Credentialled Diabetes Educator.
Outside of work, Gayle’s talents extend to viticulture: she also works as a wine judge and is developing her own vineyard. Other interests include photography, gardening, bushwalking, and working on her farm.
Kasey Murray
Kasey is a compassionate Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in acute critical and primary healthcare. She has worked extensively in regional New South Wales as well as remote Northern Territory and is dedicated to improving access to health care in regional areas. She completed her Bachelor of Nursing in 2008 from the University of New England. She went on to study for a Graduate certificate of rural and remote health and in 2018 she graduated from the University of Queensland with her Masters of Nurse Practitioner studies.
Kasey has an interest in women’s health, aged care, emergency, child and adolescent health and sexual health.
When not at work, Kasey enjoys spending time outdoors with her young family or reading a good book.
