Dr Jean-Didier Breton

Dr Breton grew up in France and obtained a MSc and PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Strasbourg in 2006. He then moved to Australia and worked as a Research Fellow at the Australian National University for many years, conducting medical research and teaching.
Dr Breton embarked on his medical journey in 2014 and completed his Doctor of Medicine and Surgery at the ANU Medical School in 2018. As an intern and resident, he worked at the Canberra Hospital, Calvary Hospital and Goulburn Base Hospital, where he gained experience in Obstetrics/Gynaecology, Emergency Medicine, Plastic/Reconstructive and General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Respiratory Medicine and Oncology.
In 2021, Dr Breton worked in a GP practice in Merimbula, where he got exposed to the challenges of rural medicine and began practicing with Ochre Medical Centre Calwell in February 2022.
In his spare time, Dr Breton is an avid landscape photographer and he enjoys bush walking with his family.
