Dr Amar Jha

MBBS

Dr Amar Jha completed his MBBS, including internship, in Nepal in 2019 and subsequently worked there for four years, providing both inpatient and outpatient care. During this time, he developed broad clinical experience across multiple specialties, including emergency medicine, general medicine, paediatrics, surgery, chronic disease management, and women’s health. He also gained competence in basic procedural skills and in managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.

In May 2023, Dr Jha moved to the United Kingdom, where he worked within the NHS for one and a half years. This role further expanded his clinical exposure, particularly in respiratory medicine, acute medicine, geriatrics, emergency medicine, and same-day emergency care. Working in a high-demand healthcare system enhanced his ability to manage complex cases, prioritise effectively, and work within multidisciplinary teams.

Since November 2024, Dr Jha has been working at Caboolture Hospital with Queensland Health in Australia. In this role, he has continued to build on his experience in emergency medicine, paediatric emergency cases, stroke medicine, geriatrics, and general medicine. This position has further strengthened his clinical decision-making, adaptability, and ability to work across diverse healthcare settings.
