Jenny has been at the practice since 2019 and enjoys all facets of General Practice and the variety of clinical presentations and patients. She has found it a privilege to work with people and their families over the years and to be able to provide them with continuity of care.

Jenny completed her medical training and doctoral/PhD thesis at the Technical University of Munich in Germany. She worked several years in various hospitals and departments (including in Medicine, Emergency Department, Intensive Care and Anaesthetics) in Newcastle and Maitland, as well as 5 years in General Medicine and Gastroenterology in Augsburg (Germany) before she started her GP training in Newcastle.

Since settling back in Newcastle, she has completed the Diploma of Child Health (DCH, Sydney), undertaken further training in skin cancer medicine (Professional Certificate of Dermoscopy, Certificate of Dermoscopy) and women’s health (FPAA National Certificate in Reproductive & Sexual Health for Doctors), and finished her GP training (RACGP).

When not working, Jenny enjoys soccer, photography and travelling as well as spending time with her 3 children and family. She speaks fluent English and German (and would be happy to have a consultation in German if required), and a little bit of French and Spanish.
