Dr Ramindhu Galgamuwa Arachchige

Ramindhu has been working as a GP in Canberra and as a “Rural GP” in rural QLD since 2013.

He completed his medical degree (MBBS) in 2007 in Sri Lanka. Since then he has worked in many disciplines in medicine including Paediatrics, General Medicine (as a registrar at Canberra hospital), General Surgery, Acute Medicine and finally continued with his passion for General Practice. He gained the Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2018.

He has a passion for medical research, hence completed his M.Sc. in Biotechnology in 2010 and PhD in Pharmacology/Drug-Development (for kidney disease) from the John Curtin School of Medical Research, Australian National University in 2016.
