Anne Endres

Anne is an experienced Midwife and IBCLC Lactation with over 24 years of experience supporting women and their families in various settings.

Originally from Germany, she called many places ” home” before settling in the ACT. Anne has worked in many settings as a Midwife and Lactation Consultant, mainly in Continuity of Care models in Germany, New Zealand, Queensland, NT and ACT. 

Having always had a passion for continuity of midwifery care, Anne is pleased to be able to offer women and their families before and after birth care and lactation consults. Some of her services may attract Medicare or private health fund rebates; she also works as a Midwife for ACT Health.

Anne is available for:

• Antenatal midwifery care
• Postnatal midwifery support and care for up to 6 weeks after the birth of your baby
• Lactation consults for the entire breastfeeding journey

Anne is particularly interested in finding the underlying issues and offering solutions in cases where breastfeeding becomes challenging, including:

• Breast refusal
• Baby’s oral function including assessment for tongue tie and other restrictions
• Feeding twins/ multiple babies
• Pain when breastfeeding
• Low milk supply
