Casie Lamberton
We are excited to welcome Casie to Level One Psychology. Casie sees clients on Thursdays at Ochre Medical Centre Caloundra, and Fridays at Ochre Medical Centre Sippy Downs. She has experience with a range of different presentations, including individuals managing schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and personality disorders. She has also worked extensively providing support to NDIS clients.
As a dedicated and compassionate registered psychologist, Casie brings a wealth of experience in providing psychological support to children, adolescents and adults. Her passion lies in fostering positive mental health and empowering individuals to navigate life’s challenges with resilience.

Casie’s main goal in therapy is to collaboratively work towards enhancing emotional well-being and the achievement of personal growth.
WorkCover QLD, DVA and insurance-related referrals, and NDIS clients welcome.
Individuals can claim a Medicare rebate if they have a Mental Health Care Plan referral from their GP. The Medicare rebate is currently $93.35 and the session fee is $180 per hour.

Debbie Lucas
Debbie is a Clinical Psychologist with immediate availability. She has 20 years of experience across government and private practice settings. She has worked for Queensland Health as a Clinical Educator and as a Senior Psychologist within Mental Health, Persistent Pain Management, and Early Intervention and Parenting. For the past 7 years she has worked in private practice on the Sunshine Coast. Debbie has 15 years of experience providing supervision to psychologists for them to gain general registration and endorsement as clinical psychologists, psychology students on placement, and other colleagues and professionals for ongoing professional development.
Her clinical focus includes: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Stress, Grief and Loss. Relationship difficulties, including attachment trauma, intimacy and sexual wellbeing. Chronic medical conditions, including persistent pain and women’s health across the lifespan, LGBTQIA+, Perinatal and infant mental health, and transitions to parenthood.
Debbie is accepting in-person and telehealth referrals for individual therapy (14yrs and above) and couples and family therapy (all ages).
Her primary therapeutic modality for individual therapy is Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP). She also draws on her advanced training and experience in Schema Therapy, EMDR, ACT, DBT, IPT, CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment, trauma and neuroscience. This enables her to successfully work with a wide variety of clients.
Dr Alec Hamilton
Dr Alec Hamilton is a highly experienced psychologist who predominately works with children and adolescents. Alec is currently available for consultations every Saturday morning.
Alec has worked in private practice and a wide range of educational institutions, from early childhood centres to post-graduate university. He has a strong interest in the connections individuals make and the stories they build along the way. His passion is in assisting young people to grow and develop.
Alec believes that, given opportunities, young people are powerful competent individuals who can live positively. Sometimes they need help to do this. Alec believes that it is a privilege to be invited into their world, and to walk alongside them, and their families, for a short time.
Alec’s specific areas of focus include: Working collaboratively with Medical Practitioners, Child and Adolescent Development, Anxiety, Depression, Bullying, Grief, Friendships issues – Interpersonal Relationships.

Dr Lisa Martin
Lisa has extensive experience in her field, having provided psychological support and strategies to both individuals and teams over the past 20 years. She currently works with athletes from a range of sports, including basketball, football, swimming, tennis, golf, surf sports, netball, BMX, motocross, hockey, triathlon (including ironman), soccer, and canoeing. Lisa specialises in assisting athletes, coaches, and other high-achieving individuals operating in high pressure situations and environments to access their optimal levels of performance. She also assists individuals who are facing transition in their lives (both sport-related and not). In sport, many times life changes can occur as a result of injury, relocation, deselection, or retirement. It can also be due to moving from an amateur to a professional level of competition or adapting to a new life event. Lisa also works frequently with medical professionals to assist them as they prepare for their specialist medical examinations.
Lisa aims to coach individuals to re-establish purpose and balance in their lives, along with appropriate levels of self-care by assisting them to overcome issues such as self-doubt, difficulties with motivation or focus, negativity, and nervousness. Many of these factors underlie common psychological problems such as adjustment disorder, depression, anxiety, stress and burnout. She has a special interest in neuroscience and seeks to educate her clients as best as she can so that they develop a strong understanding of their current circumstances, how they may have arisen, and how they may be overcome. Lisa uses an Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) framework, incorporating mindfulness techniques and other somatic and cognitive strategies, to aid her client’s progress. Lisa was the lead psychologist for the Australian Paralympic Swim Team, working and travelling with the team for a period of three years. She also worked as a lecturer at the University of the Sunshine Coast from 2004-2020, leading to her publishing her research and presenting it both domestically and internationally.

Qualifications: Dr Lisa Martin is a registered sport and exercise psychologist, a PsyBA approved supervisor, a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and a Fellow of the APS College of Sport and Exercise Psychologists (CoSEP). Lisa specialises in stress and injury management and dealing with transition. Her PhD was focused on elite athlete career transition, psychological well-being, and self-identity. She also has a Masters qualification in Sport and Exercise Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with Honours.
Janelle Jones
Janelle Jones is a Psychologist and an Educational and Career Development Consultant. She has more than 25 years of experience working with children and their families within the educational sector, as a teacher, academic leader, guidance, and careers counsellor.
Janelle offers a unique service, which crosses the educational, psychological, careers and social-emotional domains. She has a passion for parenting, child behaviour management and educational accommodations for children with diverse needs. Janelle has extensive experience in learning difficulties, and is experienced in working within the school setting with both children and adolescents exhibiting a wide range of difficulties.

Jessica Smith
Jessica is a down-to-earth Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor who is passionate about supporting children, adults, couples, and families to move through challenges, heal from adversity and trauma, and develop stability and strength within themselves and their relationships.
She has particular training and experience working with EMDR and Schema Therapy, Family Therapy, the Gottman Method, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Sensorimotor and Play-Based Therapies. She is particularly passionate about supporting parents.

June Staunton
Advanced certificate of Buddhism and Psychotherapy, Advanced certificate in Somatic Integration Psychotherapy.
June Staunton is a well established psychologist with many years of local experience in psychology, counselling and teaching. She has particular expertise in understanding and working with somatic integration therapies (body-mind).
She has a broad range of skills and experiences that compliment her extensive formal training and studies in psychology, dance, somatic integration psychotherapy and education. June has a special interest in Deafness and hearing impairment both congenital and acquired and is fluent in Auslan.

Level One Psychology
Level One Psychology is a private psychology practice offering support, education and intervention to enable individuals to achieve well-being, balance, and performance in life. Our team of practitioners at Level One have a diverse array of skills and include psychologists, clinical psychologists, sport and performance psychologists and mental health social workers. Individual psychological consultations are available at each of our three clinic locations across the Sunshine Coast. We have clinics at the Ochre Medical Centre in both Sippy Downs and Caloundra, and at the Sports Hub in Birtinya.
Evidence-based therapies including, but not limited to, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-based interventions are used by our practitioners. All practitioners are experienced and fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
GP referrals are welcomed but not necessary to access clinic services. We also welcome WorkCover QLD and other insurance-related referrals, along with DVA and NDIS clients. Michele Guy
Michele is a very skilled and compassionate practitioner. She is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and holds a Masters degree in Mental Health Practice. Michele’s breadth of knowledge allows her to assess and treat a wide array of complex issues, including mental health disorders.
Michele draws from over 10 years of experience providing emotional and practical support to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families who are facing issues such as:

Michelle Summersgill
Michelle is a graduate of the University of South Africa (UNISA) with a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Psychology and is a registered psychologist with the Psychologist Board of Australia. She started her internship as a psychologist with Mackay Division of General Practice in 2006, was Clinical Lead with Northern Australia Primary Health and then in private practice with HMM Health in the Whitsundays before moving to Grafton GP Super Clinic in 2017.
Michelle works with adolescents over the age of 16 and adults with mild to moderate mental health conditions, she uses focused psychological strategies including psychoeducation, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy and Motivational Interviewing to treat:
- Anxiety disorders including social anxiety and panic attacks,
- Depressive disorders, depression and low mood
- Stress management
- Anger management
- Grief and loss counselling
- Sleep difficulties
- Milder presentations of eating disorders

Preeti Gupta
As a registered psychologist, Preeti provides psychological intervention and counselling to clients of ages 18 to 60 years from diverse cultural backgrounds to build self-efficacy and overcome internal and external barriers for personal growth. Preeti has over 15 years of experience in both public and private sector including organisations specialising in mental health across India, UAE, UK and Australia.

Rosina Epps
Rosina Epps completed her bachelor degree at the University of Queensland before completing her masters at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Whilst completing her two year post graduate registrar program, she worked in a wide range of clinical settings, including mental health services for Queensland Health, Non-Government Organisations such as Headspace, and in private practice.
During her clinical practice, Rosina has gained experience with a wide range of client populations and has experience working with children, adolescents and adults in both crisis and therapeutic environments.
Rosina’s areas of interest include working with children, adolescents and adults across the lifespan and with a range of mental health concerns. This includes assisting people with:
- Anxiety disorders including general, social, phobias and obsessive-compulsive symptoms,
- Depressive and mood disorders,

Tracey Duthler
Tracey has 18 years of experience working as a Registered Psychologist across a variety of contexts including private practice, government services and schools. She works with adolescents, adults, and older persons who are facing issues such as stress and trauma disorders, anxiety disorders, depression and mood disorders, grief and loss, adjustment to change and life transitions, and workplace stress.
Tracey has a special interest in using Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy to work with clients experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and acute stress disorder to reprocess disturbing and distressing past memories. This can reduce present triggers and symptoms, and lessen the negative impact of past events on future life experiences.
Tracey has a sincere, compassionate, and non-judgemental approach, and is dedicated to providing quality, client-centred care in a supportive environment to help clients reach their goals, and improve overall well-being.
Tracey has training and experience working with evidence-based interventions, including EMDR Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
